In Engine Assembly we verify all components are sized to specification for the application.

The main and rod bearings are checked for proper clearance with the crankshaft. Valve to piston clearance, is measured to insure there is no interference. Piston clearance is checked, rings are file fitted to size for the correct end gap. Camshaft is installed and degreed to specification before cylinder heads and oil pan is installed.
